It's 2 a.m. and I just stumbled upon this look at holtrenfrew.com after reading an article done by Scott Schuman, "The Sartorialist", in which he interviewed Lucas Ossendrijver, a designer for Lavin Men's for Holt Renfrew Magazine. I think the look is sartorial perfection. It's the perfect summer suit based in classic shades of tan, grey, navy, and white. I love how different sets of clothing were put together to make an impeccable outfit. That's having true style. You have a khaki suit paired with a denim vest, silk tie, navy and white plaid shirt. The tie bar adds the finishing touches. The shoes here are interchangeable; you could wear shades of brown or black in my opinion.
Take a cue from this outfit and mix blends of different fabrics this summer. After all, it is a key element to having true style.
